We are frequently asked questions about the services we offer. Here are our answers to the most common queries. We hope you find them useful.

How do I place a made to measure order online?

If you have chosen a fabric from our fabric collections, we recommend you order a sample first. If you would like us to make recommendations for you, then email us a picture of your window along with your window measurements (please use the guide pages) or if you are sure what you would like all we need is your window measurements along with any further information required. Then simply fill out the Enquiry form. Once we have the relevant information, we will then email you a quotation and if you are happy with the price we will then process your order.

Can I change my made to measure order once I have submitted it?

We’ll be happy to cancel or amend you’re your order up to 48 hours after you have placed it. Unfortunately after this time, we can’t change your order, as manufacturing would have begun. If you have made an error contact us as soon as possible on 01935 420200 or email kay@azest.co.uk.

Do you sell black out blinds?

We have a good selection of ready made roller blinds or made to measure vertical & pleated blinds. We can also add an additional black out lining to any made to measure product just notify us when you make your enquiry.

I want blinds for my conservatory can you supply them?

We offer vertical, roller, roman and pleated blinds all are suitable for conservatory. If you have a UPVC conservatory we also offer Perfect Fit blinds, they are a new non-screw system for attaching blinds to your UPVC windows.

Do you sell blinds for Velux windows?

Yes we do, we offer a small range of blackout roller blinds and aluminium blinds for velux windows. Visit our READY MADE blind section with your velux window code and you can select a blind from there.

What is the difference between a Pin and recess measurement?

When you place an order for Made to measure blinds you will have to notify us, whether you have measured pin (outside the recess) or recess (inside the recess). When you are measuring Pin your blind will be made precisely to your measurements. A recess measurement is from wall to wall inside the recess (remember to measure in three places top, middle and bottom) and give us the smallest measurement, then we will take off the necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit.

I live outside the UK; can you deliver goods to me?

At the moment we only deliver to addresses in the UK.

What is the best type of blind for my bathroom?

You can use a soft fabric blind or curtains but ONLY in a well ventilated bathroom and outside the recess is advisable. A Bathroom that tends to get steamy we recommend an aluminium Venetian blind as natural wood may warp. If you are after a more natural look, we do offer wood effect aluminium blinds, these combine the look of wood with the practicality of aluminium. Also if you wish to add texture and pattern laminated roller blinds are also good for bathrooms.

Do you offer a full design service?

We only design your window treatment and soft furnishings. However we can give you free advice on wall coverings and accessories.

How far will you travel for a free Home visit?

We only offer free home visits in our Local area within a 40 mile radius of Yeovil, Somerset.

Do you re upholster furniture?

No, we can supply fabrics suitable for upholstery. We offer a made to measure loose cover service, where we can arrange for you a removable cover for soft furnishings. Please note we can only offer this service in our local area.

Do you offer made to measure service for fabric supplied elsewhere or do curtain amendments?

No, we only offer a made to measure service for our fabrics supplied through us. We do not alter or amend curtains bought elsewhere.
